Speaker 1: And …
Speaker 2: Okay. All right, so tell us a little bit about your situation.
Speaker 3: So about four years ago my wife passed away. I promised my youngest child I’d keep the house until he graduated college, which I fulfilled. Looked into both selling it outright and using what I call the house flippers for lack of a better term. And just the time and the effort to put into some of the stuff I would have to do to put it up for sale, and the money I thought it was going to get versus what I got through selling it directly, the margin just kept shrinking smaller and smaller. The more money I was putting into it and stuff like that. So that’s why I decided to go this route.
Speaker 2: So-
Speaker 3: And it was quicker.
Speaker 2: Good. So what was it about us at C&M Housing Solutions that made you choose us over anybody else that maybe you instructed?
Speaker 3: Well I’d actually interviewed two couples just like yourselves. One couple seemed a little more pusher and wanted to push the date on me, where you guys come in and said, “Whatever day you want to move out is yours and I’ll add a month to it. And then we can play around with that and once you get there.” So I then just … It just went a lot more relaxed. Plus I looked at both websites and I like what I saw you were doing with houses you were flipping. I know it’s not mine anymore, but just the way you turned them around and the way you made them look compared to what the other couple was doing, it was all to me just generic rubber stamped. All of them looked the same. There was no individuality, which I think your houses have.
Speaker 2: Well thank you.
Speaker 3: You’re welcome.
Speaker 2: And then the last question is how did you feel about the process as a whole?
Speaker 3: The process as a whole was very quick, very straightforward. Chris was very upfront with the fact that he wouldn’t be able to get back to me right away all the time. And that did happen at times. It’d take a day or two because of his schedule, but I always got my questions answered. He checked in periodically, which surprised me. So that was nice. Also just say, “Hey, how’s it going? How are things? And if I can be of any help, let me know.” And when I had a question, he answered it. If I didn’t, he pretty much left me alone.
